Is it enough to have the basic 3 pc set, or should you go the extra mile for your baby and get the 8 pc set?

The dust ruffle, pillows, and diaper stacker are nice additions to the set, but are only optional and for aesthetic purposes only. There are even those sets that include window treatments and wall hangings to complete the whole theme and look of the nursery.

With all these options, you have to decide which one is best for you. Of course you can choose to buy the pieces individually, but you could end up paying more instead of buying it in a set. A baby bedding set already includes everything you need, and is more convenient and fun to use, with its matching color themes and design.

Three-piece bedding sets include a fitted sheet, baby comforter and crib bumper. This is the most basic set you can get for your baby. The four piece set contains the same, with the addition of a dust ruffle. The six piece set includes the basic pieces found in the four piece set plus a diaper stacker, and window valance. There are also sets which contain more than 6 pieces. Usually, these contain items for décor purposes to complete the whole look of the nursery using matching designs and colors. However, if you only need the basics, the 3 or 4 piece set would do.
